Jennifer Kydd

Hello my name is Jennifer. I have been working with children since 1995. I have taught children of all ages including Kindergarten and First Grade in both Public and Private Settings. In addition, I have also worked for many years with infants and toddlers through being a developmental specialist at Early Intervention. I received my BS in Early Childhood Education from Salem State University and have several courses towards an MA in ECE. I have worked in public and private programs as well as for-profit and non-profit programs. I came to Kids-A-Lot in 2009. I was attracted to the program because of the beautiful, natural setting and strong roots within the community that the center is known for. I love the children’s sense of humor, their love for adventure and their willingness to try new experiences. What I enjoy most about working with children is their happy nature and their endless hugs and smiles that brighten any day! I take pride in partnering with families and strive to build a strong bridge between home and school. In my spare time, I love to cook, bake, and most of all go shopping for shoes! Most of my free time is spent with my husband Matt, our children Garrett and Ava-Marie, and usually involves trips to our house in Maine where we love to go fishing, hiking, and spending time on our boat. I take pride in offering a high-quality program for children and their families. My daily goal is to partner with all children, staff, and parents to ensure the best programming for children.

Kelly

My name is Kelly. I live in Stow with my husband, Ryan, and our three daughters: Sloane, Maeve and Bristol. Along with two golden retrievers and a cat. I have always enjoyed working with children from an early age and spent most of my teen and college years working as a pre-school assistant, babysitter and full-time nanny. After graduating with a business degree and working in Finance, I made the decision to leave the corporate world after having my oldest daughter in 2016. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past 6 years, however; with my girls getting older and entering full time school I decided this was a great time to get back to the workplace and do something I truly enjoy. I am a lifelong learner- I love to explore, read and research new things. I enjoy reading, yoga, and spending time in Maine at our family lake house. I look forward to continuing my Early Education and working with your children.

Jackie

Hello, my name is Jackie. I have been working at Kids-A-Lot for the past 8 years. I received my Bachelor’s in Special Education from Westfield State University and my Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University. Throughout my young adult life, I have worked with all age groups, but have become particularly interested in Child Development. I love the field of teaching and I am most drawn to working with young children due to their openness to explore the world around them, as well as providing them with the foundation of learning. Preschoolers present a welcome challenge as they become more independent in exploring their social and emotional development as they get prepared for their public-school careers. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family in Maine, watching disc golf with my husband both as he plays and on TV, and watching our son, Oliver grow and develop his little personality.
